I think Mentor2Work is a great opportunity to get in touch with quality professionals who can guide you into the field of work in Flanders. Personally I feel happy and grateful to my mentor because she guides me and gives me advice on every step I have been taking in my development as a professional in Antwerp.
In the months that I have been participating in the program, I have been able to learn more about the psychological work of organizations and I have been acquiring more knowledge in Dutch thanks to the information I have received from my mentor. This has helped me to have a clear and concise overview of the steps I need to take to achieve my goals at a professional level, while at the same time I appreciate the time she takes to answer all my questions.
I could suggest this program as an additional support and guide for all foreign professionals who come to this country with many dreams and willingness to contribute with our knowledge and experience, and I always resort to this phrase: “When we love, we always strive to be better than we are. When we strive to be better than we are, everything around us becomes better.” Then with a lot of perseverance, tenacity, and passion for what you do, you can achieve everything you want and give back all the best you have to this country.
